Beach Channel Senior Housing is a mixed-use development with 154 apartments for low-income seniors. It offers 4,500 sq. ft. of retail/commercial space on the ground floor, 4,500 sq. ft. of community space, and on-site attended parking. Residents are provided supportive counseling and other social services, supplemental meals, and health care referrals. This project incorporates Enterprise Green Communities building standards, and features an energy efficient insulation system, low water flow fixtures, LED lighting in common areas and solar panels. It is also equipped with flood protection technology and standby generators.
