Built on the site of a parking lot, this 105-unit senior housing building includes two floors of parking for residents of the adjacent Astoria I Tower. 32-14 111th St, East Elmhurst, NY is constructed with poured-in-place concrete from the foundation up to the second-floor slab. Above the second floor, the structure consists of concrete planks supported by premanufactured metal frame panels that had been delivered to the site and mounted with a crane. Developed in partnership with B2K Development, the building meets Enterprise Green Community standards and has solar panels on the roof.
