DWTN

Aufgang’s team changed the site’s zoning from R6 to C6-4 and brought it into the Special Downtown Brooklyn District, enabling a substantially larger mixed-use development than previously allowed.  The MADDD Equities development team acquired 180,000 square feet of air rights from nearby properties. Aufgang also established a Mandatory Inclusionary Housing (MIH) area on the site, with 25% of the building’s units designated permanently affordable. DWTN has 473 rental units, 3,000 square feet of retail space, and 71 parking spaces all on an L-shaped lot with entrances at 202 Tillary St. and 71 Prince St. in Brooklyn. The property includes a rooftop terrace with pergolas, outdoor grills, and loungers, as well as a bike room, tenant storage, lobby lounge, co-working space, fitness room, recreation and game lounge. Select units have access to private terraces.
