Dr. Joan O. Dawson Plaza, formerly known as Victory Plaza, located at 11 West 118th Street, is a 100 percent affordable building, constructed under Senior Affordable Rental Apartment (SARA) program of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD).

The new nine-story building contains 136 rental units including a total of 41 apartments reserved for formerly homeless seniors.

Amenities: on-site resident super, card-operated laundry, community room, outdoor recreation area, communal lounge, elevator, bike parking and on-site social services provided by HCCI.

A percentage of units is set aside for applicants with disabilities:
• Mobility (5%)
• Vision/Hearing (2%).
