Tremont Residences is a 100% supportive residential rental building set-aside for both vulnerable populations and low-income families. Building amenities include full-time security and maintenance staff, on-site staff offices, social service space, a 1,300 SF community room, outdoor recreational space, library, and laundry rooms on each floor.
Social services are provided to residents by Westhab, which received an Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative (ESSHI) award for 60% of the units (71 units) to serve formerly homeless individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI). The balance of the units (47) are available to low-income individuals and families. Westhab provides on-site social services for the formerly homeless residents, including individual case management.
